For how long is the journal good for?
The journal covers 22 topics. Each topic can realistically, be read and answered in one day. Our recommendation however is to allot about 2-3 weeks per topic to allow for the lesson to sink in and be practiced at home. At that rate, the journal is good for about one year.
Can kids work on this on their own?
7-9 year olds will likely need an adult to explain some concepts, while 10-12 year olds should be self-sufficient. Regardless, having a buddy (parent, older sibling, or other adult) is highly recommended to spark further conversation and address any questions that may arise.
It helped me recover from anxiety, both caused by the pandemic and medication side effect.
the Navi 2021 has a hashtag #travelcurious. in the same year wehere there is pandemic I was able to travel first time abroad and it is in europe to pursue my masteral. It helped me to brave the unchartered territoy and trust the light as the small note book says. the compas or the design really fits my 2021
It helped me cultivate habits that helped me excel not only in my full time job as a call center agent as well as with my part time job as a Financial Consultant.
I first discovered the NAVI planner in 2019. I was 1 year into my job as Medical Technologist in the DOH. I needed something to write my accomplishments/activities for each day at work, and future schedules. The NAVI planner definitely caught my attention in NBS. I really loved the theme (cause who doesn’t like to travel, right?). I also loved how it is spaced and left enough room for notes.
In this pandemic, the NAVI planner is my daily companion. Part of my job is to schedule my patients that are needed to be swabbed. With my planner, I maintain to have an organized work flow. Indirectly, it helps me save lives in my community.
It's helps my unload my feelings, emotions that I will not hurt others verbally
My 1st planner is a focus planner given by my sister for Christmas. I really love it. Then last year I saw it on fb so I decided to order it. I enjoyed it so much. Especillay it has my name on it. So many benefits like the cards and discounts that I never tried. It has also empowered me to be a better woman. Made me inspired each day. More power!
As a young doctor struggling through the demands of my patients and my family’s finances during the pandemic, it helped me maintain my focus and optimism that better days will still come.
I had to go home to The Philippines and put my plans in continuing living in Canada after finishing my Post Grad degree due to the uncertainty that the pandemic has brought. I was so lost, and at first regretted deeply my decision to go home. When I bought the NAVI planner, it showed me places and goal pages which I can still do after all of these. Once we get to travel and explore the world again… BDJ gave me hope to see the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel.
I love journaling and planners. One day as I was browsing FB, I saw a free planner/journaling event, You Got This PH. I registered and joined the community right away. Honestly, I forgot about it on the day of the event; but I think I was destined to join this community because as I was browsing my FB Newsfeed on that day, I saw the FB live of one of the speakers. I was hooked on the first day of the event and I love all the speakers! I can relate to their talks and I love the community itself -- my co-Bellas who are very active in the comment section makes me active (in commenting and sharing my thoughts and experiences) as well.
I fell in love with the Bella Community because of the event. I also felt separation anxiety because the event has ended. It is true that when the door closes, the window opens. As I thought that I will be separated from my newfound family, it became an opportunity to live with them and join the tribe. I joined the BDJ related FB Groups: The Bella Tribe, Plan with Me and You Got This. I tried to be active as well in every FB Lives that they do because I can relate to all the talks.
Knowing BDJ during the pandemic is very timely for me. It's the time when I was experiencing anxiety and depression - the very very lowest time of my life. Since I found the ""light"" in my quick participation in FB Lives, I engaged myself more in this community. I can say that this community helps me a lot in diverting my emotions, it also lifts me when I feel down.
During the You Got This Event, I bought a focus planner in a B1T1 promo. When my order arrived, i was surprised to see that I got a BDJ planner! It's a prize for being active during the You Got This Event.
Haha. Ang haba na ata nito, mejo effort pa ko sa pag-english. Overall, ang laki ng naitulong ni BDJ sakin to lessen my anxiety. Lalo na kapag may antigen test kami, kasama ko palage si BDJ Anniv Notebook to journal while waiting for the result. I'm making it a habit para hindi magwander and thoughts ko while waiting for the result. Mas nakakapraning kasi kapag phone lng or tunganga lang sa waiting area.
Thanks, Dar and BDJ for helping me get my sanity back. I love you all.
Referred by a friend. She bought BDJ. The NAVI planner caught my attention as I love to travel. I have been using it since 2009 and has helped turn my life around. I started to dream bigger and believed that with proper planning, I can achieve these. I have done better careerwise, familywise, even with relationships with others and myself. Aside from being able to plan ahead, I get to see trends. This helps me plan my days better moving forward by making the necessary adjustments needed based on my priorities
The journal keeps me to be mindful on every aspects in my life. I have this attitude of being pessimist and passive but with the help of journalling, these weaknesses of mine are addressed
The first time I made my dream board in my 2020 planner it helped me realize what I wanted to do and how many of my older dreams still exist. That I still want to accomplish them now.
It opened my mind to just how much is truly possible because I want them to be possible for me.
I discovered it in college and has never looked for another. It's been a faithful companion amidst exams then and now work deadlines. Although I tend to keep to myself, I think having this planner broadened my horizons for the last 5+ years I've been using it (even when I have not utilized it much). Overall, thanks for making a great planner.
I first had an encounter with the Navi planner back in 2015. I was a freshman in college, with big dreams yet of no plans. All I knew back then is that I love to think "big picture" but never sat down and see the steps within it. When I got Navi, i was able to start loving the joys and tranquility of planning and journaling. There was no more need for random notebooks and cluttered notes. For the first time, I was able to find peace and a direction to where i wanted to be. Now, whenever I'd feel lost, anxious, or just having a rough day, I take out my planner and see the written steps i need to take and the world doesnt seem so overwhelming anymore. It has become my haven during my dark days. It continues to do so.
I have been designing different planners for several years now (Scribble, Design Your Life, Filed and Starbucks to name a few), but it felt like I was lost for some reason. Each year I would try a new journal and shift to another one the following year. I don’t have the luxury to buy the coffee planners yearly as well, as you need to have approximately P3,000 budget and drink 18 cups to get one. And then finally, I discovered BDJ before 2018 ended, while I was canvassing for my 2019 planner in the bookstore.
What made the difference was the community behind BDJ. Though I would admit, I love the dream board, ikigai, goals, simple acts of kindness and others. I also love Focus journal for my work, as it helped me prioritize my tasks for that year. When I joined the BDJ Plan With Me group, I realized that I’m not alone in this favorite hobby of mine and it feels good that I met ladies that I share the same interest.
